The Future of Geotechnical Modelling
We’ve reimagined our software to reflect what’s next: smarter, AI-powered solutions for pile foundation analysis and design.
At GEMSai, we’re combining the trusted accuracy of Finite Element Modeling (FEM) with the intelligence of AI-assisted workflows — enabling faster, more intuitive, and more powerful geotechnical insights.
GEMSai proudly launches its most advanced release yet — the Comprehensive Pile Foundation Software, now enhanced with AI capabilities for land-based, bridge, and waterfront pile foundations.
Welcome to Geotechnical Engineering Modelling Software (GEMSai) , the leading provider of advanced and intuitive CAD software for foundation analysis and design. Our software is designed to streamline the complex process of geotechnical engineering, enabling engineers to work more efficiently and effectively.
At GEMSai, we specialize in developing state-of-the-art foundation analysis software that employs modern finite element modelling techniques for both shallow and deep foundations. Our foundation analysis suite includes modules for analyzing beam foundations (combined footings), pile foundations, pile groups, and even specialized offshore pile foundations.
We're committed to providing our clients with the best possible experience, which is why we offer a free trial of our software. Experience the power of GEMSai software today, whether you prefer the convenience of a cloud-based trial or the flexibility of a PC or Mac download. We also offer flexible subscription-based offerings that are available on the cloud, as well as for PC and Mac.
Join the growing community of geotechnical engineers who trust GEMSai to provide them with accurate and reliable data analysis for their projects. Our foundation analysis suite can make all the difference for your next project. Try it today and see why GEMSai is the go-to source for advanced foundation analysis software.
GEMSai (Geotechnical Engineering Modelling Software) is foundation analysis and design software for geotechnical and civil engineers. It uses finite element analysis (FEA) to analyse shallow and deep foundations, including beam and raft foundations, pile foundations for land, bridge and waterfront structures, pile group settlement, and offshore pile foundations. GEMSai is available as native software for Windows and macOS and as a browser-based application through GEMSai Cloud.
GEMSai analyses both shallow and deep foundations across five modules: Beam Foundation for combined footings, Raft Foundation for slab foundations on multilayered soil, Comprehensive Pile Foundation for land, bridge and waterfront structures, Pile Group Settlement for group behaviour and design load estimation, and Offshore Pile Foundation for marine and offshore platform structures. All five are based on finite element analysis.
Conventional foundation analysis generally uses simplified assumptions about soil stiffness, load distribution and soil-structure interaction, whereas finite element foundation analysis models these interactions more explicitly and can account for layered soil, variable stiffness and realistic load paths. GEMSai applies finite element formulations suited to each foundation type, including discrete spring-bed and elastic half-space models for beam and raft foundations, multilayered soil analysis for rafts, and p-y, t-z and q-z spring models for piles.
Yes. GEMSai runs natively on Windows 8, 10 and 11 (64-bit) and on macOS 10.13 High Sierra and above, and GEMSai Cloud runs entirely in a modern web browser without requiring software installation. Native macOS support is uncommon in geotechnical foundation software, where most packages are Windows-only, and the browser version removes the operating system question altogether.
GEMSai uses AI to assist the foundation analysis and design workflow, while the engineering analysis itself is performed using deterministic finite element modelling. AI can help optimise designs without requiring multiple manual iterations and can assist engineers in interpreting analysis results and answering context-sensitive engineering queries. The underlying finite element analysis remains reproducible and independently checkable; GEMSai does not use AI to generate the engineering analysis results.
